BJP organises thanksgiving meeting
Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Ram Madhav has said that people accorded a thumping victory for the second time to the party as they thought that country can be safe only in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This victory would continue for another 30 years and the 100th Independence Day would be celebrated in the country under BJP rule on August 15, 2047, he said adding that Congress had no future and Rahul Gandhi’s resignation to the party was an indication that he had no courage and capacity to run the party and take it to victory at the hustings.
Addressing the party thanksgiving meeting here on Monday evening Mr. Madhav said that BJP would be the future of Telangana and it would hoist its flag in the State by sweeping 2023 Assembly elections.
Utter shock
Chandrababu Naidu and Chandrasekhar Rao wished that they would play a major role in Delhi but faced debacle in the Parliament elections. Both were in utter shock with the defeat, he added. Congress was founded by a foreigner and the party journey would come to an end under the leadership of a foreigner’s family, he said with an oblique reference to Sonia Gandhi. He said that BJP’s victory in north Telangana heralded the end of arrogant and corrupt rule in the State.
BJP State president K. Laxman said that the people of Nizamabad had reversed the history by defeating Chief Minister’s daughter K. Kavitha. She was defeated as the TRS government deceived all sections of society and particularly the unemployed youth and farmers, he said describing Dharmapuri Arvind as a giant killer.
Insult to Hindus
People had given a lesson to KCR as to what would happen if he insulted Hindus with derogatory remark of “Hindugallu Bondugallu,” made in Karimnagar meeting. BJP could keep its flag high in North Eastern States thanks to the political strategy of Ram Madhav and out of five Lok Sabha constituencies for which he was the party in-charge the party secured three in Telangana, he said.
Newly elected MP D. Arvind said that in the Nizamabad constituency henceforth people’s rule would come. People voted for BJP to end the arrogant and negligent rule of TRS, he said and added that this was the first step for the journey of BJP in the State.
Former MLA Yendala Laxminarayana and party district president Palle Ganga Reddy also spoke.
